Glimpses of Mindfulness in the Christian Tradition
May 17 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The Rule of St Benedict contains a wealth of spiritual instruction, not least with regard to the life of prayer. But does it have anything to say about mindfulness? In this seminar we will explore certain aspects of the Christian contemplative tradition with reference to the context of contemporary secular mindfulness, and in doing so perhaps see some of the various ways in which each might inform the other.
